Robert Hage

Tenor/Alto Saxophone & Clarinet Instructor

Robert Campbell Hage is a saxophonist and composer who holds a master of music degree, with a specialization in music composition, from Bowling Green State University and a bachelor of fine arts degree from Marshall University. Mr. Hage’s teaching experience in the classroom began in the fall of 2012 when he instructed Advanced Music Theory, Advanced Aural Skills and Musical Styles at Marshall University. During the fall of 2014 until the spring of 2016, Mr. Hage assisted in Music Theory and Composition by grading music theory assignments and exams. Mr. Hage currently lives in Lawrenceville, Georgia and substitutes for Gwinnett County Public Schools while also teaching saxophone and clarinet lessons. He is full of experience and ready to impact his knowledge to everyone.

Corey Hutto

Drum Instructor

Corey earned his degree in Music and Media with a focus on Drums at the Atlanta Institute of Music. This program gave him the versatile knowledge needed for teaching. As a full-time musician, his skills and talent have allowed him to share the stage with various artists such as: Robyn Lajoya (Daughter of Ray Charles) , Rhonda Ross (Daughter of Diana Ross) , Carla Cooke (Daughter Of Sam Cooke), Chico Debarge, Betty Wright, Trombone Shorty, and The Craig Lewis Band to name a few. Corey is a strong believer in music education and prides himself on teaching these 5 developmental principles:

Adrienne Bythwood

Violin & Viola Instructor

Adrienne Bythwood is an acclaimed musician and amazing teacher at NBMA. She started out on Violin at the age of eleven and then picked up Viola at age sixteen. During High School, Adrienne participated in GMEA Honor Orchestra as well as Statewide honor orchestra. She has been playing music for eleven years and is currently studying Viola performance at Georgia State University with Tania Maxwell Clements. She loves to teach, inspire and bring out the unique talent in every individual student. She is certainly looking forward to helping you reach your goal!

Justice Etrew

Founder, Piano & Guitar Instructor

Mr. Justice is a  music veteran, director and producer with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. After 8 years of music studies, he became a member of various musical groups in Ghana/ West Africa and later participated in European tours with famous artists and other European groups. These exposures and his musical studies in Germany tremendously enhanced and polished  his musical expertise.
Justice has become a passionate and talented music teacher, with a very unique and effective style of teaching!

Assent Tweed

Piano/Vocal Instructor

Want to sing? Assent Tweed cannot wait to meet you! Assent is an international recording artist and music director with extensive knowledge and experience in the music field. He has a large exposure to and utilizes various music techniques to compose, produce and play the piano. He also scores and masters music across different genres within the Gospel platform. A big congratulations to Assent as he is the current recipient of the 2018 International Gospel artist of the year. Assent loves helping his students develop their voices potential, expand their range, and just enjoy singing without strain! Marlon Morrow

Drum Instructor

Marlon Morrow has been in the drumming business for over 20 years. His love for music began at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in his hometown of Maplesville, Alabama. Music was a huge part of his religious life. Being in the atmosphere of classified musicians struck a note in his spirit. He graced the stage  with such artist as: Keyshia Cole, Yolanda Adams, Le'Andria Johnson, Geoffrey Golden, Tasha Page-Lockhart and many other local artist as well. As a continuing developing musician he strongly believe in a simple slogan: REACH ONE TEACH ONE! Being able to give back a talent as such which God has blessed him with is huge. He will strive and thrive himself on working effectively and efficiently with each and every student. He looks forward to seeing students on the down beat!

Terrilynn Kankam

Songwriter/Vocal Instructor

Terrilynn Kankam, (TLK) a licensed minister, for 15 years is based out of Atlanta, GA. TLK is a songwriter, psalmist, and is the visionary of Bright Kindling for the Nations Ministry. She has been a student of music for over 20 years studying with varied professors and voice coaches but most notably Florence Kopleff while attending Georgia State University. TLK has been working with young adults and children for 16 years and is currently serving the youth and music ministries of Fresh Start Church in Duluth, GA where Dr. Marquis Boone is the pastor. Telling of the love of Jesus is something that is near to the heart of TLK. After accepting Jesus at the tender age of 7 she began a life of evangelism starting at the age of 10. With the God given desire that we all be united as one, and a kingdom minded vision TLK has created music that can be enjoyed by all ages, cultures, backgrounds, can be easily translated into varied languages, and incorporates the prophetic. She looks forward to sharing this gift with others.


Javenn Edwards

Bass/Piano Instructor

Javenn Edwards is a Bassist/Pianist who graduated from Berklee College of Music. He graduated from Berklee with a degree in professional performance on bass guitar. He has since moved to Atlanta where he performs regularly and teaches music to students of all ages and skill levels. He has developed a structures program for his students that fundamentally teaches them the same thing, but it is individually adjusted to fit the learning style and needs of each student. His courses will teach the basics, but also incorporate some of the music his students may enjoy to keep their enthusiasm high and keep them motivated. This method allows him to teach fundamentals using tools that appeal to each student. He is looking forward to share his experience.
